Rules For all the categories, the Swiss Triathlon Federation rules apply.

Competition rules

Insurance
Each competitor must acquire personal liability and health insurance which offers the legally necessary guarantees to compete in the Triathlon of Lausanne.

Wetsuit policy
Please refere to page 9 of the 2008 competition rules of the Swiss Triathlon Federation.

Doing
All information about fighting doping, in particula forbidden substances, the authorized medication, the add-ons, control validity, special authorizations, rights and obligations, are available on www.dopinginfo.ch.

Drafting
Drafting is authorised on Saturday 29th August for the Youth League 14-15 ans 16-17, and on Sunday 30th for the Junior (Swiss Triathlon Circuit ) 18-19 races. It is prohibited for all other categories.

Licence
For the Swiss Championships, the licence is mandatory for the following races:

Saturday August 29th
Youth League – annual or daily Swiss Triathlon licenceCHF 20.00
Schoolboy and girl – annual or daily Swiss Triathlon licence CHF 10.00

Sunday August 30th
Swiss Triathlon Circuit man and woman PRO
Classic man and woman AG
Junior (Swiss Triathlon Circuit) man and woman 18-19
SC Police man and woman

Annual or daily Swiss Triathlon licence CHF 40.00

A daily licence can be bought onsite at the registration desk (race number collection).

Only Swiss athletes with an annual licence (competition member) will have a Swiss Championships ranking. The SC Police and University are not concerned by this rule.
