Protection plan

The committee is hard at work and ready to adapt to many different scenarios. Of course, our wish is to come as close as possible to the large popular triathlon we have known in previous editions with as few constraints as possible. The rules that will govern events of more than 1,000 people from 20 August onwards are not yet all confirmed and could still change between now and then. From 20 August, we will publish the final protection plan on our website and send it by e-mail to all registrants.

At present, for events of more than 1,000 people, which is the case for the Lausanne Triathlon, participants are asked to provide a COVID certificate:

  • COVID certificate for access to the event;
  • An official identity document (passport, identity card, residence permit, driving licence);
  • In case of symptoms that could be associated with COVID-19, do not go to the event;

Conditions for obtaining a COVID certificate:

  • Vaccination with two doses of vaccine - Certificate valid for 12 months;
  • Vaccination with one dose if COVID positive for more than six months - Certificate valid for 12 months;
  • COVID positive and confirmed by a PCR test less than six months ago - Certificate valid for 6 months (testing centres)
  • Test with rapid antigen negative result (Pharmacies/doctors/testing centres) - Certificate valid 48 hours (Hotline numbers available)
  • Test with negative PCR result (laboratory) - Certificate valid for 72 hours (from 1.07.2021)

Please note: no COVID certificate is issued for self-tests.

Information on the various tests and costs can be found on the federal government's website.
